Monkeys and Beaches for Elizabeth

As most of the team returned home yesterday, Katy headed to the Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific Coast for a little R & R. It's a rain forest full of incredible beaches and wildlife. Here's a glimpse of what I've seen so far:

Entire families of Spider Monkeys fly through the canopies.

The sloths are a bit harder to spot, due to their lack of movement, but I still caught a couple.

Vamos a la playa!!
As I sat on the beach reading, I noticed several flashes from cameras aimed in my direction. I looked up from my book to see a raccoon about 5 feet from me. It didn't appear sick, it was just out looking for food, but I couldn't  help but laugh at the oddity of a raccoon visiting me on a beach.

A 10 ft snake was hanging out by the trail

Incredible flowers were everywhere!!
